Seeking research and survey professional to strategize, create, execute, and produce surveys, top financial industry lists and research awards categories for Markets Group Media brand. The professional will have the opportunity to carve an important niche in the world of finance and will be surveying institutional investors and private wealth investors. Must be able to work concurrently on multiple projects, producing 8-10 surveys per year in addition to news team supplemental research.
The professional will be highly ethical and a master planner, able to assemble a core group of thought-leading allocators and finance industry professionals to create and curate highly relevant and timely content, and use data visualization software to present it on a web page. S/He will work closely with stakeholders in a cross-functional setting and translate data-driven findings into actionable insights. The ability to work independently as a sole survey provider is a necessity. The professional should be highly collaborative, and able to build best practices into Markets Group’s media brand for future surveys. Added plus if can create or direct data scraping programs. - B.A. in journalism or related field required.
- Experience with designing, executing and presenting surveys (for institutional investors preferred.)
- Ability to work ethically and independently as the sole provider of surveys from concept to creation
- Knack for motivating respondents and working closely with stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of data presentation software
- Ability to provide 8-10 survey projects per year.
- Refined writing skills, able to write white papers from survey results.
